Video Creation of the Week!
November 17-23, 2025

Above is a video I put together for my ex-brother-in-law.  He lives in Louisville, KY
so I had to throw Churchill Downs into the mix!  I asked him to text me a pic of himself and I got the image below and built the video above.  The voice is cloned from from the deep voice on the old Rock & Roll hit "Summertime Blues."  After Tom did those flips on his ride I was afraid he might challenge my #1 Rhino Rider ranking!

TOM PHILLIPS-01.png

Tom Phillips - the image texted to me in early November 2025.

Tom Phillips, my ex-brother-in-law, and still a good friend, lives in Louisville, Kentucky.  When I was married to his sister Vicki, we were both in the USAF over a period of time including SE Asia, he in Thailand and I in South Viet Nam officially and Cambodia & Laos unofficially.  He was a flying C-130 crew chief (enlisted maintenance person).  Later when I was flying out of Norton AFB in the USAF active reserves, he was staioned in Palmdale, CA doing what only the devil knows!  Long story short version, he gets out, goes to work for UPS initially sorting packages, works up to driver, then assistant mabager of their local depot, then manager, then manager of a larger depot, then trnsfers into their aviation division and ultimately ends up running UPS's air maitenainenance operation from Alaska to Japan, Hong Kong, and all the way to Singapore!  He retired in Louisville where UPS has their air freight operations headquarters.  Started at the bottom and ended up near the top with a high school education, intelligence, USAF exoeriences, and pure determination to better himself!

Above is a video I put together for my big sister.  Gayle is a remarkable person.  She set the standard for me academically in that she came close to straight A's from kindergarten all the way through high school.  She raced "OPEN" class go-karts as a 15 to 16 year old. That's against grown men and often beat them on a small oval track lucky to be a full eigth of a mile.  She has rode and owned motorcycles since she was 11., over 20 for certain!  Restored old cars with my dad including a beautiful 1939 Ford coupe.  AI created below: She was valedictorian of her 230+ class of 1964.  Academic scholarships to the University of Illinois where she majored in ceramic engineering more accurately called material science in today's world.  Completed her masters degree before working in the glass industy until retiring at age 55 to our family farm dating back to 1845.  She with a friend at least 10 years older than herself plus my dad, gutted the old farm house built in the 1890's replacing floors, adding an interior bathroom and plumbed the whole house.  Took the HVAC coarse at the local junior college so she could installed central heating and air conditioning herself.  She definitely has trust issues with contractors since she almost always can do things better.  Now imagine the pressure that put on me, her pitiful little brother!  How could a normal human keep up with a sister like Gayle Snively?  Time to play the theme from the "Mission Impossible" series!

General Douglas MacArthur's Farewell Address to the US Congress

President Harry Truman fired General Douglas MacArthur primarily due to a fundamental disagreement over the strategy in the Korean War and MacArthur's public insubordination. MacArthur advocated for a more aggressive approach, including potential attacks on China, while Truman favored a limited war and diplomatic solutions. MacArthur's public criticism of Truman's policies violated the principle of civilian control over the military, leading to his dismissal.

Personal Stories from Insta-Doodle
Insta-Doodle is one of my AI video creation tools.  It produces a unique and almost colloquial way of telling a story, I really like it!  I hope you will too!

This is a lovely story told through the Insta-Doodle format.  It epitomizes my belief that everyone has a pletora of interesting significant "Y's" on their road of life.  Seemingly insignicant in the beginning, but ultimately forcing important alternative choices that truly changes the way one lives a life!

Artificial Intelligence is fantastic at creating almost any object, if the required prompt is precise & accurate.  However it is far from perfect as seen here.  I ask my AI image generator to "Show me in my 1968 Mercury Cougar with a slightly dark green lower body & black vinyl top at rest 150 yards off the main road in the south Texas desert terrain."  Somehow, AI felt that my left leg needed to "rest" through the car's driver-side door!

This Insta-Doodle video is my version of "The Graduate" & Dustin Hoffman's character in the movie: BENJAMIN BRADDOCK.  I was 21 in 1969, my story primarily takes place prior to graduation from Indiana University in June of 1970.  In history and in my life, 1969 was a watershed year. Woodstock, Stonewall riots, The Manson Murders, and The Moon Landing that personally occupies a significant point in my life as you will see in my longest video.  Like "Benjamin" I wanted to break free of "others" supervising how I was to live my life, especially my big sister!   This was first accomplished by moving to Austin Texas for the summer of 1969 when it was just a large college town of around 250,000.  In comparision, it is now a metropolitan area of over two million, over twice as large as St. Louis, Missouri!  Then by taking my one & only "SPRING BREAK" over my Christmas holiday of 1969!  My AI software threw me a couple of comical curveballs of which I will only mention once in this intro. My friend's nickname is "PUG." The AI visually gave me a pug dog early on in the video whenever my script mentioned my friend's nickname.  Who says AI doesn't have a sense of humor? I have to end this description by commenting on my chosen "THUMBNAIL" for this video on YouTube. It is a reject AI created image of my 1968 Mercury Cougar & me on the road between Loredo and Houston. My leg is has miraculously passed through the car door with my left foot on the ground! AI is far from perfect!  Hope you enjoy my longest presentation to date.
